Simpl. completed a renovation project on the island of Spetses. The project involved the rehabilitation an existing traditional house, while also adding to the properrty a new detached two-story structure in a similar vernacular style . Our team was responsible for the design of the interior,  the landscaping as well as the revision of the building permit and overseeing the construction process.

The design is simple and uncluttered, with a focus on clean lines and white volumes that reflect the island’s aesthetic.

Attention to detail was a key aspect of this project, as our team took great care to ensure that every element of the design was in keeping with the island’s architectural heritage.

The project is a great example of how contemporary design can be integrated into an existing traditional architectural context, while respecting the vernacular architecture of the island.
